Predictions of Pain is a reminder of the atrocities and horrors that continuously happen around us. These inhumane acts are done by people just like us. However far removed we want to be, however far away that glossy photo or TV screen appears, it is closer to us than we ever want to believe.
We live in dark times, and while it is comforting to be removed from the source and to disbelieve its accuracy it is of great importance to remember our own relationship to issues of death and dying as it happens around us - either with one’s consent, or all too often without.
